COUNSELLING

Talk through your difficulties within a safe space

Counselling

Undertaking counselling can be a brave step into discovering more about yourself and the difficulties you may be facing and the impact it is having on you and those around you. Within a safe space with a counsellor, a person may explore issues they feel are affecting them in depth, with support and guidance to help you move forward.

What is Walking Counselling?

Walking counselling is essentially counselling but with the benefit of being in nature, and walking beside your counsellor, rather than sitting opposite them. Some people find the confines of therapy rooms  and facing a therapist increases their stress levels and make it more difficult for them to relax enough to fully engage with the benefits of talking therapy. Walking therapy helps by combining the physical benefits or being outside and walking in nature with counselling techniques to help you work through your difficulties to bring you to a place of greater peace and confidence.
